This year’s women’s fundraiser will support a worthy charity close to home: Turning Point, Camden. Turning Point is a not-for-profit community welfare and drop-in centre. To learn more, you can visit its website at www.turningpointcamden.org.au.
Let’s gather together as a community of women to support and raise money and food donations to support Turning Point.
This event will be an afternoon tea with a second-hand clothing sale. We will hear about the great things that Turning Point has been doing for our community and collect food to stock their food pantry.
How will it work?
This event will rely on donations of clothing to be sold at the event. The money raised from clothing sales will go directly to Turning Point. If you are registered to attend the event, we encourage you to donate clothing items (on hangers) prior to the event. You can do this in the weeks leading up to the event by dropping clothing items off at the Church office. (Office hours are Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm) Please ensure the clothing to be donated is in good condition and sellable. These items will be arranged to be sold to attendees on the day of the event.
Please also remember to bring non-perishable food items to donate to the food drive on the day of the event.
Ticket Price: $25—Ticket sales will cover the cost of the afternoon tea and a donation to Turning Point.
