Dealing with damaged emotions

“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.” Psalm 23:1-3.

In 1 Thessalonians 5:23, Paul talks about God sanctifying our whole being and he speaks of us as being body, soul and spirit. The body is the part of us that is made up of flesh and bones, our soul is that part of us that thinks and has emotions, and the spirit is that part of us that connects with God. Each of those aspects are connected and affect one another.

God is interested in every aspect of our lives, when Psalm 23 says God restores my soul, he is specifically dealing with that part of us that thinks and feels.

We all have hidden hurts from our past. We all carry wounds, battle scars and emotional injuries. God wants to restore our thinking and emotions. Do you want to be on the path of emotional healing?

Listen and put into practice what you hear today!
