When your family goes off the rails

Luke 15:32 “But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’”

In the parable of the Prodigal Son, Jesus masterfully gives us many applications of this classic piece of literature. Such as:

  •   The Foolishness of the younger son.
  •   The Repentance of that same son.
  •   The Wisdom and Grace of the loving father.
  •   The Jealousy and ungraciousness of the Older son.

But the big idea here is that the young son’s repentance was brought about by the goodness and grace of the loving father.

Despite what our kids or family may do to us, grace and love as hard as it is, always wins out! Love them back!!

Luke 15:32 “But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’”
