John 2

“Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days” – Jesus, John 2 Vs 19.

We’ve been continuing our journey through the Gospel of John over the last few weeks and you may feel like there’s been a bit of repetition as we have heard about Jesus, the Lamb of God. The Son of God who calls us to follow him.

This week we arrive at a new section of the book. We are witnesses to the next chapter of Jesus’ ministry. In this episode Jesus tells his mother “My hour has not yet come.” What does Jesus mean by his time has not yet come? He is pointing us towards to the future event that for us changes everything.

“Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days” – Jesus, Vs 19.

We know the ending of this story, Jesus died on the cross for us. But, it doesn’t end there. Jesus rose again defeating death. The Gospel of John reveals again and again who this Jesus is, what he has done, and how we are to respond. If you don’t know how you should respond to his love for us, I would love to share with you the saving message of our Lord Jesus Christ.
